I am a UX researcher and designer with 20 years of experience in user research, usability, customer experience, and product and service improvement. Combining a background in mechanical engineering with a human-centered, analytical approach, I help teams understand people's needs and make evidence-informed product decisions.
I work across the product-development lifecycle, researching user needs and workflows, evaluating concepts and prototypes, and translating findings into practical recommendations. I'm experienced in navigating complex stakeholder environments, balancing constraints and priorities, and helping teams turn insight into action.
Communication and connection are central to my work. Through consultancy, conference leadership, community building, teaching, and mentoring, I've developed a collaborative approach to bringing people together, clarifying complex issues, and building shared direction across disciplines and cultures.
